THE TEAM

Dr Chibeza C. Agley

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Chibeza Agley is a Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge and founded CamBioScience Limited in 2014 with the specific aim of helping scientists to develop their commercial awareness and realise the economic value of their transferable skills. Dr. Agley grew the company from its origins as an interdisciplinary academic-to-industry consultancy service, to an international business supporting Biotech, Pharma and Healthcare industries worldwide. His current research at the University of Cambridge Stem Cell Institute amalgamates the fields of stem cell biology, physics and bioengineering. Chibeza continues to publish scientific papers and has received a number of notable academic awards for his research including the ‘Tadien Rideal Prize for Molecular Science’ in recognition of his PhD thesis. He maintains excellent local links with the Cambridge biotech cluster and the UK advertising industry and has developed long-standing global partnerships. As Chief Executive Officer of CamBioScience, Chibeza is focused on delivering innovative business solutions to our valued clients.

Dr Sarra Achouri

Chief Marketing Officer

Sarra is a Next Generation Fellow at the Centre for Trophoblast Research at the University of Cambridge. She has been in Cambridge for several years, doing her PhD in the Physics department and conducting academic research. Sarra’s scientific interest and expertise lie at the interface between physics and biology, but her experience radiates across a range of science disciplines. Her extensive experience in facilitating communication between scientists from different fields constitutes a powerful ability to explain, promote and sell new concepts and cutting-edge technologies. Throughout her abundant multidisciplinary collaborations, she gained an advanced ability to adapt communication to different audiences and a keen eye for efficient visual support to convey information. Her motto is “Science should look as beautiful as it sounds and sound as clear as it looks”. With this in mind, Sarra uses her hands-on experience and her networking ability to lead our Marketing department.

Dr Jürgen Fink

Chief Operating Officer

Juergen is a driven PhD Candidate at the University of Cambridge. Always striving for excellence, he started publishing his research at the end of his BSc degree, an exceptionally early stage of his career. In the following years, Juergen has gained professional experience working in more than 20 different laboratories in Germany, the US, South Korea and the UK, gaining crucial multidisciplinary and multicultural problem solving and communication skills. These qualifications and Juergen’s keen eye for detail as well as his natural team leading and project management skills enable him to quickly identify new possibilities for our clients and to direct the business operations of CamBioScience. As the Chief Operating Officer, Juergen overseas business operations and ensures the highest quality results and customer satisfaction of our clients.
