We have developed a cerebral organoids course to empower scientists with this revolutionary technology. Using human pluripotent stem cells to create in vitro cerebral organoids allows the study of neural developmental mechanisms in human. They can also be used to understand the roots of human neurological diseases. Cerebral organoids can indeed be used in experiments where current in vitro methods are too simple. Therefore, they are more human applicable than rodent or other mammalian models.

Our Cerebral Organoids Course has received 98% positive feedback from participants over the past 2 years when asked the question: “Are you confident to apply the technology by yourself in your lab after this Cerebral Organoids Course?”.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Understand the history and applications of cerebral organoid systems

2. Learn how to establish cerebral organoid cultures

3. Gain knowledge about the use of organoid systems in research and disease

.

In the lectures of this cerebral organoids course, you will learn from pioneer Dr Madeline Lancaster and her lab how to establish, culture and manipulate cerebral organoids. You will discover the state-of-the-art of cerebral organoid technology and learn all the theory you need to design your experiments.

Our clinics are specially designed sessions where each participant gets a chance to address the challenges of their individual project and learn directly from the experts how to best design, run, and trouble shoot their experiments.

Get the protocol used by the experts to practical ahead of the course. During the digital course, the instructors will guide you through the technical difficulties of setting up organoids. There will be interactive sessions with the instructors and partners to discuss all your technical needs, video protocols and live demonstrations where possible.

Instructors will also share tips and tricks you can only learn from the most experienced users of this powerful system.

Have access to all the content covered in the live sessions. You will also receive exclusive additional content after the course through the OBRIZUM e-learning platform (6 months access).
